CSU Chancellor's Office Student Success Survey

Welcome to the California State University Chancellor’s Office Student Success Survey. The purpose of this survey is to understand the current student experience across the CSU, including resources and barriers that may exist on campus and in the classroom. The CSU defines student success as improving graduation rates for all students, making college more affordable, and working to ensure that every CSU student leaves their degree program with a clear pathway to a meaningful career or continued study.

The insights gathered will inform the development of a holistic student success framework that addresses degree completion, equity, social mobility, and career development. The survey will take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete.

To ensure that individual answers will remain confidential, survey responses will be sent directly to Deloitte Consulting, a third-party advisor, for data processing and analysis. No one from the California State University system will see an individual’s survey response.
